Dr. Daniel M. Peters, Senior Pastor
Serving at Limerick Chapel Since 1988
Dan Peters grew up in a parsonage with a faithful mom and dad who pastored for 40 years and did missions work in Haiti for many more. They led him to the Lord at an early age.
Dan and Diane have survived more than 40 years in pastoral ministry together, raising six children, spoiling nine grandchildren, the loss of a child, a church split, personal revivals and God’s grace in it all. They have served churches in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He enjoys living his life with his lovely wife, Diane, doing yard work, reading, riding motorcycles, escorting people to the Holy Lands and visiting Mission fields. He loves to preach, witness and train men in Christian living. He loves the gospel, theology and meeting new people.

2 Corinthians 5:21
While I was born and raised in the quiet town of Perkasie PA, I moved to South Carolina where I enjoyed southern hospitality for the better part of the last decade before returning north of the Mason Dixon Line once again. There in the South I met my best friend and now my wife (who is, incidentally, from Limerick PA) and I can honestly say that I got the better end of the deal. Together we took the advice of Shakespeare that “the world must be peopled” and have added to our number two boys (with another baby on the way) who continue to be a source of great joy to us. We love the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and enjoy a Flyers or Sixers game now and again. Many have classified me as a nerd because I love to read so much – and that suits me just fine. Some of the authors I have enjoyed the most are D. A. Carson, John Piper, John Owen, Jerry Bridges, Francis Schaeffer, David Wells, and many others. Besides my love of sports and reading, you should know just a few other things: I am a happy follower of King Jesus by faith, I love the five solas of the reformation, and I am far from a finished product! You can keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, or over at my blog.

“And you shall seek me and find me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
God has called Limerick Chapel to edify believers and to proclaim the Gospel at home and around the world. God has called me to assist this ministry by overseeing the finances, facilities and other pastoral duties. It is a pleasure to serve at Limerick Chapel as we strive to seek God wholeheartedly and to encourage others to do so also.

1 Thessalonians 5:24
“Faithful is He who calls you Who also will do it.”
We believe in using God-honoring music at Limerick Chapel since God is the audience, not the congregation. All those who participate in the music ministry including the congregation should follow the Scriptural admonition in I Corinthians 10:31 “…whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”. This is the purpose in our music ministry through special music, choir, orchestra, handbell choir and congregational singing. I am happy to serve in a church that tries to accomplish this goal in its entire ministry.
