Limerick Chapel has ministered to the youth at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center since 1977. Every second Sunday evening of the month a group of teens and adults from Limerick hold a service at the Center in Oaks, PA. Approximately 30 youths ranging in ages from 10-18 are given an opportunity to listen to a message from Limerick Chapel that can change their lives.

In most instances, 10-15 youths choose to stay and listen. Just the mere fact that they have made this decision to stay is a blessing from God. These individuals are eager to hear the message of Jesus Christ and how He as worked in our lives.

The biggest message is that we are ALL sinners, ALL fall short, and CANNOT save ourselves. Only when we accept this fact and put our trust in the Savior will He transform us and turn our lives around. Each one is given an opportunity to pray with us and put their trust in Him.

To quote deacon Doug Dougherty, "There is nothing like seeing God uphold His Word with these kids in our midst who are, like Jesus said, 'hungering and thirsting after righteousness.' They are coming to Christ in incredible numbers. At least 5 raise their hands at every meeting to trust Christ.
